Hey, does anybody know when you divorce the supercharger coolant circuit, what the estimated or exact volume is? And Im talking keeping everything stock and just divorcing the system. And this is for a B8.5. Any info would be great guys. Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question. Aer you asking how much coolant is in the stock supercharger loop? Or are you asking how much total coolant there is with an aftermarket divorced system? Sounds like the latter and hard to answer without knowing what the aftermarket reservoir size.

You would want or really more so need a new res to safely divorce the systems.

You need to make sure the SC coolant pump does not run dry. This could be as simple as a "T" line but I would suggest something more robust.

I have no clue on coolant volume so I cannot help you in that regard.

I want to know approximately what the stock supercharger loop holds. I am going to divorce the system, add a heat exchanger(will still maintaining the stock one), and adding a small reservoir. I know how much my heat exchanger and reservoir hold but would like to know an approx volume for the rest as I will be running water wetter and deionized water during the summer months so I need to know how much water wetter to add.

Hope this clears up the confusion

After fitting an extra chargecooler I would guess the S/C coolant circuit holds around 3 litres.

I think your best bet would be to fill with deionosed water & then drop 50% out to add water wetter
