black & red, black or chrome rings? - opinions welcome (pic heavy)

Chrome. IMO if your car was black then red would be nice.

Also maybe add the S4 badge on the grille to match the red accent near your fog lights?

The red is a bit much...I think since your car is white, you should stick with chrome. Just me $0.02

I like the red. It adds some color to an otherwise colorless car. IMHO, it would look even better if you have the Magma interior. FYI, I am not a fof white cars.

i vote chrome rings, silver side blades, and some weird color for the bottom "blade" under the grille. maybe a non-metallic (but gloss finish) slate blue or mint green, or even -gasp- keeping the a-codes and color matching the amber, etc. i'd keep the top clean and experiment with a touch of color on the bottom blade

I would try a flat white on the rings with the red in the fog grills. I may steal this. I really love it. If you have red calipers it would really pull it together.

Another spot I've seen people put a red accent is in that little groove around your mirrors. It's so subtle, but it's nice. I'm glacier white as well going to be experimenting with red accents all over.

I wasn't sure I'd like the red fog grills either, so I went with dip. Should peel right off. I actually like the OEM orange corners on this car. That said, if I get bored I'll probably do the ZKW low beam lens, dip the corners and chrome on the inside of the headlights.

S4 Badge is on order. Somehow I lost the one from the stock grill - didn't care at first, but I'm in agreement with your line of thinking.

First choice was brilliant black/magma. Couldn't find a 6mt with the sport diff in that combo. I hear you on the colorless part. I've seen white/black, which looks good... but a little color might be nice. Still playing with it and keeping it to touches that are easily reversible.

Flat white rings may not be my thing, but I like the red accent for the mirrors. Thanks! Was considering dipping them black, so I'll play around with the red accent before & after. Red calipers... been on the list of things to do for awhile. One day I'll get around to it.

Yeah you did! Was parked a few cars down opposite yours. Loved the look of the red highlight on the rotors, grills and rings - nice car. I went with something different on the rings, didn't feel like all red would work well on white. Ended up with more red paint than I wanted, so I think I'll redo the rings with less red. These rings were a test. Unfortunately this method doesn't work well with dip, so not a perfect match like yours. Will likely dip the rear valence black or do wurth satin black trim paint with the chrome piece dipped red in the next few weeks.

Keep it simple and tasteful. Too much makes it look like a college trying too hard. I'm biased though.

E-codes will help a lot with what ever choice you make. I'm not a fan of plastic chrome anything.
