GIAC releases K04 programming for the B8 A4 2.0T 2010 - 2012!

A GIAC calibration is now available for the B8 A4 with K04 turbo, intercooler, and exhaust. Gains were measured at 100 wheel HP and 95 ft lbs of wheel torque over stock on pump gas. Peak engine horsepower and torque are estimated at 336 HP and 345 Ft-Lbs, with gains under the curve as high as 143 HP and 135 Ft-Lbs. This GIAC calibration includes a dramatic throttle reconfiguration for a smoother driving experience with the added power and a more drive-by-cable-like throttle feel. The intercooler and turbo used for the calibration were supplied from CTSTurbo. MSRP for pump mode is $750.00 USD.

I had reached out to GIAC when I didn't have a tune for my HPA setup; asked them if they needed a demo car for their upcoming K04 tune. Unfortunately, I never heard back and now I know why. Perhaps their next project will be the B8.5 platform.

My secondary O2 isn't coded out now and I don't have a constant code with a high flow cat. Pops on once every five weeks or so, but clears without problem.

Pump is either for 91 or 93 octane and race is higher timing to be used with 100 octane or 93 + Water/Meth.

I would honestly hope running a K04 and the GIAC file wouldn't generate ANY codes. Rear O2 coded out or not, after this long of a file release 1 would think this tune would run flawlessly. I got beyond tired of clearing codes every few months running a Hi-flow cat with spacers and a stock tune. I'd be willing to bet 0 codes should be encountered.

Exactly... Imagine clearing one once a week... But then it only takes a "minute"... All fun!
We just need clarification if this tune can run with a hfc or not... They have stg2 dp tunes available for the mqb cars.. don't see why a k04 tune would be any different and designed to work with a hfc.
