SQ5 TCU Tune for Gen 2

I have a 16 SQ5 with APR Stage 1 ECU with an intake by CTS; going stage 2 @ the end of this week. My question is if anybody considered or has the APR TCU tune; mind you I daily it & rarley launch. If so, how is it? I was offered by my APR dealer, but havent seen TCU mods on the Q/SQ's.

There's been no word of APR, or any other tuner, offering a TCU tune for the ZF8, yet. I assume your dealer is mistaken and thinking the SQ has the S-Tronic DL501 like the S4/S5.

Ok. I'm just an average joe when it comes to cars, so I didn't go to any details @ the time when he spoke of this. Well, I'll get w/ him this Friday since I got an appt. Yea I saw the APR site that a Q5 TCU Tune was available so I didn't think twice. Thanks

Yeah, I'm on their site now and see how that's confusing. It's because the 3.0T Q5 was available with the Dual-Clutch S-Tronic in Europe, etc, but not in North America.

It will be nice if they release a TCU tune eventually, but you will love the stage 2 upgrade regardless. The power bump over stock is pretty ridiculous.

That's reassuring to hear that ur gonna save me a $k upon DOS; yea I was tempted quick because of the sale right now. I thought it be a monster launching it @ 5 k instead of 23ish. Hehe jus happy I didn't get a negative answer

FYI Q5 3.0TFSI is not sold in Europe last two years and from 2013 the S-tronic is offered only in a version with a diesel engine, tiptronic and manual gearbox is for petrol engine
