Ok all, here is the write up on the DeAutoLED rear LED reverse lights vs stock & the license plate LEDs.
The overall assessment on the reverse lights is get'em. Totally worth it. Brighter by far. I can actually see in my rear camera now. Night and day (pun intended) difference.
The License plate lights, well, they don't fit. The actual piece looks nice, and I'm sure it's brighter, but they aren't plug & play with the Audi wiring. They sent a wire adapter with them, but it does not fit the Audi wiring either, and to be honest, the small end plug that fits into the light housing itself is pretty flimsy. Not a solid click in like the OEM one. I'd recommend skipping these, as I am sending mine back.
So here goes the install on the reverse lights. Easy Peazy. Trim tools required and one Phillips head screwdriver. Reference above link I put in my thread for a video.

Pop the square bumper plate with plastic trim tool

Use Phillips screwdriver to loosen retaining screw
Pop the reflector/light housing out of the bumper with plastic trim tool

Locate the ballast for the reverse light. Rotate it, take it out, and remove OEM bulb.

Hi everyone. *I finished up my weekend project and swapped my interior lights from ugly yellow to crisp LED's. *I've been wanting to do this for a while and finally got around to it. *I thought I'd share a few pics for anyone thinking of doing it to their rides as well. *I went with the full interior LED kit from http://deautokey.com/, and added the red floods. *I don't know why the car didn't come with all interior LED's from the factory, but I think it's a huge upgrade over the stock lights. *Some of the lights were a PITA (specifically the rear floods), but overall it didn't take too long to do the swap. *I definitely recommend getting a trim kit if you don't have one. *It really helped with the install. *I went with red for the floods to match the interior lights and offset the brightness a bit. :beer:

Do you sell BA9S leds?
All the ones I've tried stay on and flicker and they aren't really in the right position to emit light properly.
The individual map light, 2 in front and 2 in the rear. The same in my Avant too.

dufferdude - yes we can sell just the ba9s but don't suggest mixing it with another LED kit color, we have a lot of people email us about this because other kits BA9S don't always works but ours do, we suggest buying our entire kit so it matches in color temperature but if you want to try our LEDs with another kit please email [email protected] and they can help.

dufferdude - it really isn't a sales tactic, we were only trying to explain everything, we also said to email the team and they can help you with just the ba9s bulbs but we do suggest the entire kit as it won't match other color temperatures and could clash.

We want to make clear that our interior LEDs are tested to work and look good - no hyper blue so it doesn't look like gas station lights, your kit might look like a hyper white and it would make our LEDs look too yellow next to them and wanted to be honest and up front with everything.

Our LEDs by themselves without other LED color temps are a clean white with NO blue or yellow tinting.
