    i went stage II and have a fault code, P19A0, tranmission thermostat sensor short circuit b+. google doesnt seem to come up with anything?!

    no CEL, just a fault code through APR mobile. any insight?

    does a B8.5 have a transmission fluid thermostat or cooler? I literally can't find anything on this soft code at all! thanks in advance. paypal reward if you can help!

    I'll double check with vagcom, and let you know. i should also mention i'm not sure the stage II triggered it, but APR mobile found it. It could have been there for awhile. I had my transmission fluid changed about 6 months ago.

    You still under warranty? If so flash back to stock and take it to Audi...

    The data with the fault looks odd. The fault generated with the engine off and the voltage was at 11.89. I would start the engine, clear codes and rescan. Low voltage may induce some errors. You could also look in the measuring blocks for that module and see if there is a corresponding block number with the sensor data.

    Select module... 02 auto trans
    Advanced measuring blocks... Select 32, 35,136, and152

    Do these all read temp values, -40 doesn't count. I think 136 is the one you are missing. If so the likely need to inspect wiring going to sensor. No idea where it would be other than look over every Haynes going to trans.

    Missed that, in the 3rd post. I don't know the block numbers for manual but look at any that say trans temp in the description under advanced measuring blocks.
