Do "painted lowers" swap off a b6 easy?

I have a hole in one of mine and was wondering if this plastic piece, the same one painted on late model B6 ("painted lowers") swaps off a parts car easy?

Bad pic, but this piece below the doors...

    Thanks

Yep. Pretty easy. Pull up the rub strip and there are a handful of bolts uner the strip. A few underneath along the bottom and a few at each end. Once you get started they are all pretty obvious.

    Cool beans.

    What is a "rub strip"?

Open your doors and there's a plastic trim you gotta remove. Ton of torx screws all along the thing. A few below the car and a few in the wheel wells in the fender liner.
If you're lowered, the rears will be a bitch so you might have to pull the wheels off.

Any of you guy's rattle canned the lowers? I found a place that can match my paint code. I may go this route after taking it to a body shop and was quoted 1300 to just paint if I removed everything and separated the front and rear bumper lowers.
