I sold my B6 yesterday. I bought it in May 2008 with around 50k on the clock and joined audizine.com that same month. Sold it with 130k. Drove my twin daughters to daycare and back for the past year, but they're 18 months old now, and the A4 was just too small. It was also starting show some age, and I didn't want to sink any more money into it. Since having the twins, my wrenching time has gone to zero. Bittersweet day. But, I love my 2013 Honda Pilot with the Touring package! (Yes, I bought it at Carmax; no I did not trade in the A4 there - they offered me $500). Today I trade my audizine.com account for a piloteers.org one. My posting frequency dropped way down over the past 3 years, but since joining in 2008, I apparently made 3,471 posts. Crazy.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped me over the years and who made this forum so helpful. I'll always smile when I think about my car driving down the road in the future with its Boost Brothers/E*terminated FMIC. Multiple Chris'es, Noti, Old Guy, Martini, Diagnosticator, Sam, Juan, Dave, Orlando folks, the guy who pulled a dead deer with this car, diode-guy from Texas, the balls-deep in honeycomb guy, and many more - farewell.

Very true. That's why I also put the cat back in and ditched my test pipe last year. Mom didn't want the girls breathing in unscrubbed exhaust. Priorities.

It's great to see you have your priorities where they ought to be! Its so true that our kids grow up fast, even faster than I could have imagined. Sometimes you just have to clear the slate and move onto other things. Your new SUV will serve you and your family well, my sister's family has the same and it is quite functional and spacious. There will always be cars out there to play with if you decide to get back into it, so no loss there!
