    E-Code headlights...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I came across an opportunity to swap my OEM LED headlights for LED E-codes with $250.00 on top of the swap...
    Is this a good deal?

I know E-codes are about 2,500 depending where they are bought, not sure what the OEM LED's are worth though,

little help before I pull the trigger!

    thanks guys

His lease is up in 2 weeks and I actually reached out to him seeing if he would swap since he has to turn the car in anyway, might as well give someone else use of the E codes lol and he said sure!
I talked him down from 500 to 250 on top of the swap.

Yea that's a fantastic deal as long as you're OK giving up your NA spec lights. I'd be all over that if I didn't already have ecodes and the opportunity presented itself. The car looks infinitely better with ecodes. You'll see what I'm talking about when you do the swap. :-)

Yeah I'm totally cool giving up my NA ones for this deal lol.

Is it easy to swap out the headlights or is it a bitch?

Once you remove the bumper cover they are pretty easy to remove.

You can remove the headlights without removing the bumper. These things are so pretty. If anyone would like a quote, pm me :)

There is indeed a screw on the underside. Some friends and I just put mine in last week. There is also a little ring/hole that you'd have to probably break near the front quarter panel that one of the tabs under the headlight slides into but I don't really recall since I had my bumper off...

The picture also appears to be B8.5 S4/A4 e-codes.

That's what I thought, when I did my RS grill it appeared that's the only way to get the headlights out.
Just a torx set and should be all dandy

Correct... when multi-tabbing Audizine goes south.. you wind up in the S3 forum instead of the B8 forum. 8V does indeed require bumper removal... annoying right? And yes those are B8 E-codes pictured, but we can get the 8V LED E-codes fully loaded too. PM me if you guys want a smoking deal. drumming up a Group buy right now if there is interest in one.

    :)

    Greg
