Installing remote start in my manual 1.8t

Hello all I am attempting to install a compustar cs650 remote start alarm in my b5 1.8t manual. Has anyone tried this as I saw online via compustar site 2001 doesn't have an immobilizer? Therefore I don't need the bypass? Not sure if without an immobilizer that I don't need an bypass still. I know German cars are illegal to install remote starts in Germany.

euro B5's had immo, american B5's did not, so no immo to bypass for you.
Maintaining a 12 year old Audi is about as expensive as Charlie Sheen's coke habbit.

In my truck I used one of the auxiliary pins (meant for heated seats/etc.) to ground the sensor on the clutch pedal. This way it still requires the clutch to be depressed when started normally, but it let's the remote start work when the shut down procedure has been followed to ensure its in nuetral.

Alright tried to ground the clutch and ending up ripping the pos and neg wires loose from its clip holder. Now car cranks won't turn over much like fuel pump or hall sensor issues...thoughts?

At first I didn't and just unplug the sensor and ran fine but then few ppl suggested it and now this sigh, but the blue wire is also cut from under the steering wheel. I know I screwed up but it was for something that could of got me an job now NOTHJNG but a dead car. What's the effect you think?

Any idea why my car would crank but no start? Ignition switch toast or starter burned out?
