TORONTO, JULY 25, 2016- The Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (CMHF) is excited to announce the addition of the appearance of one of the classic racing cars of all time.

The now 100 % completely restored Comstock Racing Team team support car, a 1966 Ford GT40 will make an appearance at the CMHF “CELEBRATION of SPEED 2016” at Canadian

Tire Motorsport Park on the Mosport Grand Prix circuit on Monday, August 1, 2016.

Fully restored to pristine condition by the world-renowned professional restorers at Peter Klutt’s Legendary Motor Cars in Halton Hills, Ontario, the car will be on display and do a few laps of the

Mosport Grand Prix circuit.

In attendance with the car will be (L-R) Paul Cooke, Ryan Klutt, Peter Klutt and Eppie Wietzes. Paul was the manager of the Comstock Racing Team in the 1960s and Eppie was the principal driver.

“When Eppie and I viewed the car today at Legendary, it was like winding the clock back 50 years. What a great experience!” said Cooke.

Enthusiasts and the general public are welcome to join and are encouraged to go along for a “ride of their life” in some very exciting automobiles with some very well-known racing car drivers. Ride-Along tickets will be available at the track for a nominal cash donation of $25.00 for one session of 3 laps or $60 for 3 sessions of 3 laps each.

This event is open to the general public on a first come first served basis. Anyone and everyone over 10 years of age is welcomed and encouraged to participate in this rare and exciting

opportunity.

All proceeds from this event will go to help support the Canadian Motorsport Heritage Foundation which operates the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame, a charitable organization
