OEM exhaust valves after installing AWE

For you guys that have installed an AWE or similar system, what did you do with the electronic exhaust valves? Mine are currently 'tucked' up in the heatshield area above. But I'm wondering how much rattle noise or possible damage that might cause - to them, or anything else.

Don't they cut them and put a little relay or diode on them to prevent error codes?

Ive had the valve controllers unplugged on ours for almost 2 months now, no codes what so ever.

they offer caps to protect them, and even a little module with a relay to plug it into. i just electrical taped them up, its not gonna last though. lol

i believe there is a silent code for not having the exhaust switches plugged in. u won't see it unless u run a full scan in vcds. don't quote me though! just what i heard

Yeah, they came with some plastic tips. Didn't see much point. Or you can buy some loop relays (I guess that's the right term) for an extra $50 that should prevent codes. But, still...where the heck do you put the damned things?
