My new 2017 RS7 Performance is here!!

Yesterday I got the phone call I've been waiting for for many months. My 2017 RS7 Performance arrived over the weekend. I took her for a test drive and it was incredible. I completed the purchase but now the car is still at the dealer getting a few minor mods.

By the way, my car was transported here in an enclosed truck with an R8 plus, and then I found her parked next to this Porsche 918 Spyder--so she is in some good company :-)

Congrats! I just got clearbra on mine and a suggestion, opt for full hood and fenders. Its a better look and the extra protection is worth it

Wouldn't the combo of those two negate the self healing properties of xpel? Oh and forget opti check out arctic coating. I had my s7 redone with it after opticoat and opticoat doesn't even come close to arctic. Car still has no visible hairlines after months and numerous washes, where as opti started getting them immediately and got worse from there.

What happened with yours? I'm not getting a tune yet - just mostly cosmetic mods -- new wheels, new rings/badges, and an exhaust.

Opticoat certainly doesn't negate XPEL -- in fact it's quite common to get them done together. I've had Opticoat on multiple cars for years and it's been worth it 100% for me -- to each his own though as far as their coating of choice. My 16 RS7 has full Xpel Ultimate wrap + Opticoat Pro Plus on top of Xpel.

Been extremely happy with it...Opticoat Pro Plus has extra slick/shine compared to basic Opticoat Pro.

Don't think so. The RS7 is just a tricked out A7. I haven't looked at mine in a while but I'm pretty sure mine is for an "A6" but has lots of callouts for the S6/4.0T.

Here's some new pictures after I replaced the Audi rings/badges, and the parking reflectors with painted covers, a carbon fiber spoiler lip, and put new wheels on. (Thanks TAG Motorsports for the parts).

Yeah, because I was stupid. When I ordered the car I didn't think I needed/wanted that option. I thought this is a car meant to be driven - not to drive itself. So I ordered it without that option. Then I bought a '17 Q7 while waiting for my car to be built and I found out that I love the ACC and the front camera. So I tried to add it on to my RS7 build but I was told it was too late - they had already started building it.
