Any B7 A4 owners near NOVA?

Hey guys,

I am looking to go from a manual b8 s4 to a b7 a4 avant 6sp that's located out of state. I have never driven one nor even checked it out too closely in person - would anyone on here be willing to let me check out their ride this week/weeked (7/26/16)?

Understand if you don't feel comfortable extending a test drive, but even just to sit in the passenger seat and get some thoughts on the car and things to look out for would be awesome!

If you did feel inclined to do a test drive, I can offer a test ride in my tuned 3.0 supercharged b8 s4 (close to 400hp crank).

Did you post this in the regional forum for NOVA? That would probably be your best bet for what you are after. Avants won't be much different from the sedan in terms of drivetrain and function. I had a 05.5 sedan and now have an 07 Avant, both 6 speed manuals. Keep in mind, you'll be going to significantly less power.

drumnjuny is a member that had a B7 for years and did TONS of mods... he's in NOVA again but in an SQ5 now, but what he did to his B7 was insane. Obviously no test ride, but the knowledge there is immense. He's super busy, so be patient.
