water leak into cabin when a/c is on...

So I've got an Avant 1.8t and about 6 months ago I first noticed this leak coming from somewhere behind the dashboard onto the passenger side floor. It only happens when I have the A/C running. I've looked around a bit, but can't find where it is actually coming from. I assume it's condensation from somewhere in the A/C system, but it seriously SOAKS through multiple large towels if I drive for more than an hour. It hasn't rained in months. And it's definitely water. All reservoirs are full and not losing anything.

Has anybody else had a problem like this? I removed the glove compartment, but couldn't find anything there. Next step I can think of is to remove the dashboard...

Your A/C drain tube is clogged or has become detached from the floor. Instead of the condensate flowing out of the car on the ground its now flowing into the cabin. There are a few threads on how to deal with this. Try searching google as well.

You were right. The valve was all full of road grime. I think that was it, but I broke the funnel drain tube trying to get it out, so I haven't been able to test it yet.

For the record, I used these two sites to figure out how to get to the spot. I ended up disassembling the armrest console, center console, and then glovebox. Then pulled up the door trim and then pulled the carpet back.

Awesome! I've never had to deal with our drain, but BMW's are notorious for having this issue.
