Coolant pipe difference? (at mt)

Other than the part that connects to the oil cooler (different angle) is there any difference between an aeb mt and an apu (euro atw?) auto coolant pipe?

I replaced my mt coolant pipe with one that came from an auto. Problem is the pipe angles towards the driver side making it impossible to bolt the bracket to the intake.

Not sure if the pipe is bent or incompatible.

There are 3 different pipes. The split happens in the 98 model year. Anything prior to a certain vin in 98 have a specific auto or manual coolant pipe. After 98 they are the same for manual and auto

Thanks for the info. Every other post said they b5 pipes were all the same.

Is the intake manifold also different (external mounting points only, dbc vs dbw)? The coolant flange looks exactly the same, the head where the flange is also looks the same.

Mainly interested on how the pipe mounts up to the manifold.

Am not sure on the manifolds. I think that the manifold mounting points may also be different. I had all different coolant pipes to know that but i never looked at the manifold.
