I keep getting the low coolant alarm about 30 seconds after i start the car. I have just changed the head gasket. Everything is put back together, the car runs and sounds fine. Could i have forgotten a sensor somwhere?

    The car is a Audi a4 1.9 2000 mod

Plug the sensor in on the bottom of the coolant tank. Ive done this more than a few times.

The sensor is plugged in and there is coolant in the tank, must be something else.

How cold is it outside. I get a coolant alarm if it is freezing outside but it goes away when the car warms up.

Is the senor in the tank ok or the harness that goes to it?

About 59 F so its not cold. The sensor and sleeve look ok. I will try to clean the contacts with electro cleaner tomorrow.

Unplug the sensor and jumper it to see if it's the coolant tank itself.

sounds like a lose connecting or cut in the wire when the temp changes it may come back on.
