Am I ready for Stage 1? (AEB 1.8T)

Hey everyone, as the title says I need some advice about going Stage 1. The tune I am planning to get is the 91 octane APR tune. I'm getting a catback 2.5in APR exhaust on Thursday. I have a Valeo clutch kit w/ single mass flywheel ready to go in the car and the car has no current mechanical issues. I plan to get a Forge 007 DV soon.

I am a bit worried about the cat, triggering a cat efficiency code and whatnot or a blowing a headgasket (its original at 127k). What do you guys think? The car still needs to be reliable daily driver.
    Thanks.

    You're good.

Head gasket shouldn't be a huge concern. If your cat goes bad, replace it with a used one or a test pipe.

The other parts you listed are good supporting mods (exhaust, DV, clutch, etc.).

Reliability shouldn't be affected too much.

I had a clogged cat and i didnt know and it drove me nuts. It caused me to lose a turbo. I swear by the test pipe now. They are super cheap. And if you do the work yourself that cuts down on instal costs.

I live in California so emissions are going to be an issue.
