Looking to upgrade to the red silicone hoses. The only reason is to get more details for shows. I can't seem to find any videos or photos of how they look and perform on the B8 model.

If anyone can post photos or link me to some that would be great.

They are on sale at USP motorsports right now so it is very tempting

I've debated on these - wanted something to compliment my engine bay since my B8 is red.

But after changing my intercooler I've decided against, partially for the reason I will only enjoy modest gains but won't have an opportunity to enjoy the look since they are tucked behind the bumper cover, and when you open your hood you only see the turbo inlet pipe but really nothing else. I'll pass and spend the $ on something else.

I'm currently K04 and have the forge hose kit with the EC hi flow intercooler pipe. Kit fits perfectly. I had the EC hose kit with turbo muffler delete but needed a silicone hose kit that mated to the KO3 outlet which the K04 has. Running the k04 and more boost (currently at 28lbs peak where stock was 18lbs peak) I def say the kit is needed. The stock rubber hoses can expand slowing air down slightly and creating flow/ volume issues. For me it was def needed. Gains may be minimal but guarantee of minimal to no flex and better flow make me personally say for piece of mind the kit is worth it. Just my experience though.

Thanks for the feedback. That is exactly what I was thinking. I know on my MK4 a lot of the hoses are easily visible and make it a great view at competitions but I had a feeling it is different on the B8.

Since my B8 is really just going to be a show car, I don't plan on spending the money if you can;t even see it.

I agree that for you it is definitely worth it but since I am running on a stock turbo with minimal performance mods (APR tune, exhaust, CAI) there is no point for now.
