Since I am a non-facebook person please be sure to post any events in here, if you can remember.

Perhaps as it cools down a cars & coffee event, the pavilions or even a run up north.

Keep me posted, it was fun at the pavilions a few weeks back.

yes. I did post a poll on the fb page about a drive up north. I selected 3 potential roads. Seems like nice driving roads. anyways, here is the list.

    Rt 89A upto Jerome
Rt 89 from Wickenburg to Prescott
And the shortest trip is the beeline hwy to Payson Rt 87 i think.

Let me know. So far, Rt 89A is winning

Got APR pulley, stage 2 tune and TCU tune. I also went with program switching and have stock, 91, 93 and 104 tunes loaded. Really happy with it so far. TCU addressed a lot of the odd shifts, like into 1st when approaching lights or in traffic. I have been using the 93 octane tune with the E85 fuel mix.

My AMS Alpha cooler kit just arrived today, going to schedule the install on that. Should really help things stay cooler.

Congrats 99.5 on the new car!

so far the votes are minimal. besides you, only one other person voted and then there's me. The weather isnt all that great either during august, so that sucks. Jerome is still in the low 90s. lets see

    Hey sorry guys,

We might just wait another month or so. But one of the other members puts together an annual poker (you can win money but i suppose you buy your way in) run the weekend before halloween. I dont have much details on it. He is making a flyer for it. I'll share it on here as soon as he shares it.

I'm still going to plan for the same trip next month after temp has nicely dropped. I recently shredded my serpentine belt so it's in the shop. hopefully i have it back soon.

I am down for next month. I need to figure out my EGT issue and inconsistent boosting issue which is probably related to the stupid N75 valve.

Sounds good to me on both. Just keep us posted, sorry to hear about the belt. is it at the dealer to get a new one? Curious what they find and the cost.

Its the E85 blend you have been running! LOL

Yea. The dealer will only be able to look fully into it on Monday. Warranty coverage should take care of however much they ask for. I still haven't tried the e85 blend lol. Hopefully it's fixed soon

Seems like a part they should have on hand so turnaround, after working you in should be quick. Is it at Peoria? I get all my work done there.

I am running that E85 blend now on the 93 APR tune. Crazy power compared to stock! Love it!

Kind of how I feel about the A4, the S4 power just makes the A4 feel so slow. My last loaner was a Q5 felt very odd to drive, wife liked it.

Yes. I was told the crank pulley was off kilter?I think that's the right word.. Anyway, it was so slight that it wore down the belt faster. Anyways they are fixing everything.. Should have it soon.

The a4 is still a nice car. I felt at home in it except when I put my foot down lol.. it goes no where.. But that should be expected

If the pulley is off then it must be failing? Are they doing a new pulley and belt?

With others having failures in them it seems like just a matter of time and they will need replaced. I am at 62k so I am worried I am getting close. Temped to go overdrive. I hope that is what APR has, Crank Pulley and TB.

Hey guys, I am a S3 owner and would like to attend drives and or meets. I have done a ton of group drives in AZ with the S2000 crowd ( in my S2000) and I have been looking to meet some Audi folks locally.

There is not one, that is the scary part. But it seems like they are failing and under 100k mileages. How many miles are on your car?

I hope APR is coming out with a pulley and tune so when I have to replace mine I can do both and get even more power!

As a precaution, you can probably have it checked and changed if necessary right?

I am sure you could. When I go in for my 65k I am going to have them check it. I was looking at my stock SC belt that they took off when they did the Stage 2 pulley. It had signs of wear and I could see steal on two different places. It was coming due which makes me think the main belt is as well. Easier to catch it before what you had happen. Problem is may not be as easy to tell if the crank pulley is about to let go and take the belts with it.

Yeesh.. sounds like a ticking time bomb. Hopefully you can get it all sorted out during your 65k service

Looking forward to next month's drive. Sounds like I'll have the oldest ride in the group.

Nothing wrong with being different. Most events I go to in my 1986 CRX, just about guaranteed to be the only one.

There is another event we should keep on the radar. No Fly Zone October 8th and 9th in Gila Bend. I plan on going Saturday so perhaps others would be interested as well. We could meet up some place for Breakfast and head out as a group. Not a huge drive down but the driving while there will be the fastest you will go! One member went last year and he was trapping in the 150s at the end of the 1/2 mile.

Definitely down to go to the No fly Zone. Won't be participating just watching.
