deAutoLED Reverse LED Review

I saw a few members asking about the reverse LED's in the deAutoLED thread, so figured I'd create a new thread and share my feedback.

Over the weekend I received and installed a set of their reverse LED's on my 15' S4.

Shipping: Fast 3 day priority mail via USPS, and it was FREE.
Brightness/Color: The deAutoLED's reverse LED's are probably 30% brighter than the old USP LED's I had and a very crisp/clean white light (see pics below).
Compatability/Codes: No bulb out warnings or codes were thrown on my 15' S4.

I believe the B8 and B8.5 use the same bulb. The old set of USP's I had in my B8 I moved to my B8.5, but will wait for deAuto to reply to confirm.

Hi, the b8.5 should have the 194 wedge also.

What year is your car - you can use the Sylvania bulb guide to look up what everyone needs and we can come up with something for everyone:

We have our own resistor setup and we have yet to see any errors with these LEDs and never had a return due to errors with these so we are confident these will work in any model.

I know for the BMW's they send a small current to the bulbs to check if their good, not sure if Audi does this as well? I had to code the car so it wouldn't test the reverse lights. Hoping I won't have to do that with the S4, since I don't have a cable.

Interested to see if these throw a MIL bulb out code on a B8. Most LED reverse lights won't do this on a B8.5, but they'll do it all day long on B8 cars and the manufacturers of these bulbs are in denial that their bulbs are perfectly fine because they can't understand why they're not tripping this on a B8.5 model.

For the front turn - we always suggest to remove your bulb and check the base to see which model you might need as they vary.

For the reverse, we never seen any issues with our 194/921 - always error free plug and play, and very bright! (Except for the Q7 model for right now).
