Which way should the radiator and AC fans be moving air?

Just did the timing belt, both fans and FCM while in service positon. Both fans died and took out the FCM. The new FCM with the AG suffix runs both fans on high when the AC is on. Ok, I found that confirmed in a thread or two.

But, I happened to notice that it feels as if the fans are blowing out through the grille. Is this correct?

The fan/shroud unit that I purchased is an aftermarket unit that is supposed to fit B6 and B7. Did the B7 have the colors opposite of the B6 from the FCM?

    Thanks.

Dont know the wire colors on b7. On my b6 is green, yellow, purple and red , and both fans should be pulling air in, not blowing out.

To reverse the fan rotation direction, swap the two wires to the fan motor, +/- > -/+.

I would try a smoke test to make sure they are wired wrong.
