    Sounds great, thank you.

And we just want to add to our other post:
    PH24WY shares the same base with: HPC24WY, 7014, 12272NA, 12272, SPH24

This should help avoid some confusion and help as we have a PH24WY coming out soon and a forum member will be testing them out.

But it seems the 3 most common bases for the front turns are:
    PH24WY
    H16/PSY24W
    PWY24W

Hi, we use the sylvania bulb guide - we also have the same bulb guide and cross-reference that sylvania uses so we are able to find what bulbs are meant to be cross-referenced, all bulb guides you see online from all major retailers (sylvania, OSRAM, Philips, SBL etc) all use the same guide that comes from one source so they normally all have the same errors. We try to correct any errors we find so our bulb guide is more accurate.

But it is suggested that you remove the bulb and look at the base, we feel the bulb guide is wrong as it says it is a 12272NA but we feel it might be the pwy24w you linked:
    http://deautokey.com/product/new-amb...st-audi-models

Or it could be the h16:
    http://deautokey.com/product/front-t...e-fits-audi-a3

And we know this is getting crazy but we also saw Audi also use: PH24WY

If you remove bulb and show the base we can help you out better:

Why this gets tricky is because philips made their own naming system for bulbs they developed and VW/Audi switched bulbs during production and it is sometimes tricky to keep track of everything.

We appreciate the support and kind words! And yes, we want our customers to receive their orders quickly! :)

An FYI, looking at the new ECode housings last night it actually has printed in the back of it PSY24W.

Here is my write up on replacing the factory Amber indicator bulbs for the LED's on my new ECodes.
You can use on your website if you like!

Pre-op pic of the Amber bulb in the headlamp

First, locate the panel toward the inside of the headlamp.
Rotate the metal fasteners to allow the cover to come off.

Remove the cover. The bottom has a slide tab holding it in place.

Rotate the base counterclockwise to unsnap it from the headlamp housing.

Pull the base/light out of the headlamp.

Locate the tab on the side of the base, squeeze it in while pulling the bulb out of the base. NOTE: make sure to look and line up the side of the new LED to the way you are taking out this bulb. They look the same so it's easy to do.

Here are the 2 lights side by side

Take the new LED bulb (try not to touch the LEDs which are on the side as well, insert it into the base. Then put it back into the headlamp housing. Make sure the side labeled "UP" is facing toward you when you are done. Click it into place in a clockwise motion.

Post-op. The new LED bulb in place inside the headlamp.

    I wouldn't think so.
I was luckily able to do install while my ECodes were off the car, and I figured it was a good opportunity for some install pics that would be easier to take than while in the vehicle.

    Thank you - very informative!

Did you feel that the length of the bulb could have been longer? One issue we saw was that other LEDs that were any longer could not fit into the housing.

I thought it was just right. Matched well to OEM bulb. If it were any longer I would say it was too long honestly.

Plug & play and install was easy.

We'll see how they fire up after install.

Just as bright as stock but slightly less orange (probably match the mirror turns better now). CRISPY flashes. Loving 'em

So I finally looked and the bulb I have in mine has two pins, which go into the housing. I already put it back in, but I'll try to take a picture tomorrow!

Thanks, that is what we found with many amber front turns on the market and why we had to make a bright LED that wasn't oversized.

Thank you for this feedback - they are an easy install.

Amber LEDs are generally a lighter color and why our amber front turns are popular, many go on ebay or amazon to buy an amber LED and realize it isn't anywhere near the same brightness of the regular incandescent bulb.

Another big issue is that in daylight amber LEDs normally disappear which is dangerous.

-Our Amber turns in daylight will be seen and at night these will be a lot brighter than a regular bulb.

And thanks for the mention of the quicker light up times and crisp flashes.

Did you have to pull the ballasts? I couldn't find the bulb back/cable as shown above... Could you please post directions or a simple pic of where that shit is for the Mechanically-retarded among us like me (I did get my cold air on no prob though last year... I was so proud of myself!)?

Just unsnap the metal retaining bar on the top and bottom of the cover like Thunderdent's 2nd pic. The ballast is part of the cover, and it will just hang by the wires as you swap the bulb. I should have been clear that I have a intake. I'm not sure how much space there is to work with the stock airbag on the passenger side though.

I have an intake too... Should be pretty easy. I'll try again once I get the eldest cockblocker to bed.

24wy is being tested and someone on the forums is testing this for everyone.

Stay tuned! We will of course keep this thread updated.

We feel these are worth - safer with a quicker light up time, matches LED blinkers on mirrors (if you have them on your car), cleaner look!

24wy is being tested and someone on the forums is testing this for everyone.

Stay tuned! We will of course keep this thread updated.

We feel these are worth - safer with a quicker light up time, matches LED blinkers on mirrors (if you have them on your car), cleaner look!

I'm definitely in when they're ready!

Hi, sorry we didn't know since you posted it here, we unlisted the video so you cannot view it.

If you want to create another video and cover the plates with paper we will post it, if not, we can look into blurring the plates.

    Thank you

To clarify, is only the PWY24W is available from your website currently?

Facelift 2013+ Q5 owners will require the new PH24WY base?

I'm using a different supplier PH24WY LED that some can find on Amazon/eBay. While it installed easily and shows a dark amber color, I don't feel its brightness is anywhere close to the stock incandescent bulb. I may be swayed to switch for the deAutoLED product once it's ready.

We have bay9s / PWY24W / PSY24W / 1156 / BAU15S front turns - so far we have all of these in the Audi with great results.

The PHY24W will be in stock and tested first so we will keep this thread updated when that happens.

Pickup a set of these BRIGHT BRIGHT Front turns for yourself!

Due to variations it is best to look up what bulb you have either by:
    -Looking in your owner’s manual
-Looking at the model on the bulb itself
    -Bulb guide:

Just an update, all brand new brighter models are now available, they are brighter in direct sun light and much safer for this reason.

Yes, the Y just stands for Yellow (amber), it is just in a difference place depending on the manufacture, some place it before the 24 and some at the end.

Either way that model can be found here - brand new brighter design:
