    Angry Intake Manifold Leak Help

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey Guys,
I went to boost leak test my S4 and I have some sort of boost leak under the Intake manifold. Couldnt find it being a hose or anything like that after pulling the intake and all the hoses from the PCV and spider. Could it be the Intake manifold sensor underneath or the Intake manifold gaskets?Any help would be appreciated...

Sooo..... I replaced the intake Manifold Gaskets and it did need them but wasn't it. I took a bottle of soapy water and sprayed down what I could while boost leak testing it and I noticed I had two serious leaks coming from the injector areas. I looked at one of the injectors and noticed the Brown holer ring at the bottle is cracked and broken and the othe injector has a gummy seal. Would this cause such a serious boost leak and overcharge and what not? Any thoughts???

If I understand this right, you might have blown injector o-rings.

    Pictures/videos would help

I do believe I have blown Viton seals and o-rings but also on of the injectors has a broken and cracked brown piece on the bottom of the injector that holds the oring on the bottom on. would this cause such a boost leak? I assume the o-ring is just sliding up and down due to seepage?

Do you have a boost gauge? It should show if you're leaking (vaccuum/boost) as anything to do with injectors will make the car run like crap. O-rings that are broken/leaking will also do that
