AWE Track 90mm rear section

Hey guys, picked up a brand new AWE 90mm track exhaust about a month and a half ago. After 1000 miles I swapped the rear section out for the touring. For the right price I'll let these nearly new track rear pipes go, otherwise I'll just keep them to use when I want it louder. $350 OBO local pick up in Westchester NY, or $350 OBO plus shipping if no one local is interested.

We all know what they look like, but I'm a fan of pics when I'm a buyer :)

Tempting but I don't live anywhere near you. How does the sound differ before and after you change the rear section?

The touring is quieter during cruise. The track is louder all the time. I actually like the tone of the track better , and it sounds better from outside the car. Just didn't love the 2500 RPM drone while commuting to and from work on the highway.

I was certain I wanted a loud exhaust but I'm getting old I guess lol

I'm running with touring and the drone has already become a huge problem while accelerating on 7th gear. But I really want it loud when I want to... I guess I need to go for a valved one in the future.

The touring for 6MT is very quiet and drone free. To Me at least

6mt doesn't have the drone problem. If I had a 6mt id go with track edition. Unfortunately LA traffic and 6mt don't get alone well.

Great seller! I heard this exhaust in person and it sounded amazing. 100% different (read: better) than what I thought the track was going to sound like.

These would'nt be interchangeable with a touring AWE exhaust would it?. I am only an A4 touring quad, can I remove both mufflers for direct fit with these?. Thank you.

These are directly interchangeable for the rear section on the touring for the S4. Different engine from A4 so I can't imagine it would work, but someone else may know better since You said u have a quad exhaust

Just for a frame of reference , here are both exhausts for the S4 from AWEs site. You can see how the back sections can be swapped out.

The touring with 7sp is quiet as long as you have the resonated downpipes, I was hoping for something a little louder. I wonder what the track sounds like paired with AWE resonated downpipes.

Good question, haven't heard that in person. I'm on stock DPs. There is a video on YouTube of a track with resonated downpipes compared to touring and unresonated downpipes.

Ya I just heard it. The resonated downpipes really kill the sound if you're looking for a loud exhaust note. Both touring and track exhausts probably sound best with non-resonated downpipes IMO.
