    MMI connect not connecting

I have an active data connection in my car, although it's slow 2G as my radio is old. My cars Wi-Fi hotspot is activated and my phone is connected to the car network yet I get no connection in the mmi app. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I honestly don't know what the app does other than stream local music and internet radio, neither of which I'm interested in. I'm able to send destinations to the car no problem, which is obviously over the internet.

Have u try to restart ur MMI? How about restarting ur phone? Are u sure ur phone is connected to ur car's WiFi? I assume ur car's WiFi name is "SLICKMACHINE"?

Were u able to connect before and this happened recently or u have never been able to connect? What year is ur vehicle? U stated "2G signal because ur radio is old", so I assume it's older vehicle?

I've never been able to connect to my vehicle through the app. PS. If it's a C7, it should be 3G. The 2G problem was due to T-Mobile changing their infrastructure. There is a TSB to correct it

Never been able to connect although this is only the second time I tried. Yes that is the Wi-Fi network in the car that is shown. Generally I find the Audi Connect experience to be total garbage.

Yeah I know.. And the problem is convincing AoA to put my vin on the list since it wasn't done back when they were sending out letters. I'm the third owner of the car.
