How to remove climatronic unit? - - stuck taking apart the interior :/

    Hi All,
I'm neck deep in pulling out the entire interior (upgrading stereo system) but I'm stuck on getting the center console out. I have pdf's from Audi, but they all just say:
Remove the Climatronic Control Module - J255- . Refer to ⇒ Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; Rep. Gr. 87 ; Display and Control Head; Display and Control Head, Removing and Installing
without any link, and I can't find anything that covers this in any of the docs. Anyone have any insight on how to remove the AC display unit/climatronic display head so I can get the center console out?

    Thanks much,
    Per

Bit late reply, but you simply have to prim a thin metal wide tool verticaly between the AC unit and the side leather console. I used a pancake scoop :p. It did the job perfectly.
Just slowly slide it between and carefully prim/pull the ac out on one side, then the other side.
    Good luck.
In worst case i can take some pictures but 'monkey' job with the right tools.

All good, thanks much! Got that tip earlier, too, and sure enough, easy as can be. I have a trim removal tool set and used the thinnest one of those.
Right now, entire interior is removed, time to do a bit of sound deadening and running some speaker wires :) .....aaand, I thought I hit submit before, guess not: added CLD and MLV, and got the carpet back in. Long, but satisfying day :)
