Allroad softcoding after conversions - auto to manual, air to steel

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Trying to find working coding combinations for the various modules (I remember level, abs, headlight, engine, transmission module, maybe more) for a 'no light dash'.
    Car is 2003 Allroad.
Automatic converted to A6 01E manual.
Air suspension converted to coil overs.
Not sure if headlights will be OEM with motor or aftermarket/no motor.

Currently removed: air system, level module, height sensors front/rear, transmission module.

Is anyone running this combination (allroad, auto to manual, air to steel) without dash lights?
    What are your settings?
01 Allroad Tiptronic, TCU tune, mild stg 3 (350 HP) tune (stock injectors) KraftwerkTurbo TM1. Lower, Wider. Custom tip vent pod with Podi
02 Allroad 6 spd, Kraftwerk Turbo TM6, 750cc, 3" MAF, piggy, FMIC, CM stg 5 (hate). 30 psi at 3600 rpm. Needs stronger rods (coming).

The front left (driver) height sensor has 4 wires. Does that mean this is the one used for the headlight height module?
Front right only has 3 wires (haven't checked the rear yet; don't think A6 would have rear height sensors just to control headlights).
So front left height sensor will be installed and wired up, since that definitely seems to be needed to quiet the headlight module/codes.
Waiting for front right input and 'no rear' confirmation.

    Thx for the link.

Was lazy this weekend (too hot). Car is still on Jacks for a few more days, but will run a first scan to get an idea which modules are all still acting up and showing codes.
In 2014 when converting auto to manual and stage 3, Arnott steel coilovers were in the car. I TONS of trial and error back, I got it to a tolerable status (forgot if dash lights, but certainly codes). In the process of getting there, I had weird things (at one point, interior lights did not work, and door knob LED was blinking when unlocked, not blinking when logged).

I would think that coding the car to a "normal" manual A6 for all modules (maybe instrument with corrected wheel diameter if needed according to the link) should do it. There is nothing 'Allroad specific' left on the car (everything removed or unplugged).

Can someone post the softcodes for the various modules for lets say a 2003 (BEL) A6 manual 6 spd with height adjustable head lights (if not all A6 are that way anyways)?

Some softcode readings (headlights not installed):

    Engine module: 07712
    LEV (07) (Not TLEV 06)
All wheel drive with ASR (7)
    6 spd manual transmission (1)
    Audi A6 (2)

    ABS module: 06395
    A6 (06)
    Dual Piston Brakes (3)
    6 cyl gas (9)
    Manual transmission (5)
    Note: ABS module codes:
    18034 - Powertrain Data Bus P1626 - 35-10 - Missing Message from TCU - Intermittent
    18265 - Load Signal P1857 - 35-00 - Error Message from ECU
    18258 - Powertrain Data Bus P1850 - 35-10 - Missing Message from ECU – Intermittent

    Instrument (need to verify): 06264
Not sure (06 not listed, but NOT 04 Allroad)
    USA (2)
    6 cyl (6)
    4 (turbo 6)

Headlight (need to verify; old reading, forgot why this was chosen): 00030
    Allroad (00030)
Should try: 00050 for A6 quattro facelift (I assume BEL, 2003 and up is 'facelift')
Headlight module not accessible (I assume because headlights are not plugged in). Where does the headlight module reside physically?

You need to plug both headlights with the ignition off..then turn on the car...if any error message is displayed on the cluster, erase all the dtc's with vagcom in the xenon module

DIY is always the best. But as far as 'kits' go, this one was pretty good; even the 'remote' for the rear (I mounted it on the side of the trunk until shocks are dialed in, then remove and tuck under the trunk cover).

Maybe 'headlight range control' or so?
Don't have headlights here right now, will do when on hand.
