It's pretty straight forward dude. Pull the clip out, put a new pipe in with o-ring, put clip back in. Tadaa.

Make sure you use an o-ring. It should have came in a pipe kit but if your old one is still in there you can clean it up and use it.

Put a flat head screw driver and pry the clip out. You can see the clip in the pic.
When I did mine , I had the intake manifold off so it was easy :)

+1, I had the intake manifold off as well. For the price of a manifold gasket it made sense to me to just pull everything out of the way and seat it correctly etc. Plus the added insurance I wasn't going to snap off some other brittle piece of breather tubing in the process.

I'd replace it for the 034 kit.

034 motorsports. there is an early version and a late version. the split is in 2003-2004 I believe. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Great kit. been performing flawlessly for me. easy install with intake manifold off. gives you a chance to replace some of those gaskets along with injector cups (which are a pain to remove-special tool highly recommended) and o rings. 1-2 hour job if you know what you're doing.

I went in under the manifold by way of the thermostat, which I was replacing anyway. The hardest part was getting the spring clip out.

I also used the 034 Motorsports kit for the late-AMB engine.
