How's it going? You seem to have tons of parts for sale in the classifieds and regional section. Do you have access to a B7 A4 stock cat? I've got a HFC and can't get my car in "readiness" to get smogged due to a fault code with the o2 sensor being too lean. Let me know if you have one as I need it by tomorrow. Thanks..

Not sure who you are addressing.

Typically to get "Readiness", you need to drive it around for a while (I think it's gotta be >50 miles). There are also some J-tube bungs to help the O2 sensor. Or you could get it coded out via software/tune.

I have a stock cat at 80k when taken out for HFC. I see you running apr stage 2 ain't that coded out your o2? You could install a o2 spacer that helps.

O2 spacer--that's the term I was looking for!

If OP is APR Stage 2, I think it's an option to code that out. I'd suggest getting a reflash.

Don't the tunes that code out the rear O2 just make it so it never goes into readiness status? This would fail smog anyway since the readiness check would fail..

Hmmm, not familiar with tunned cars but I know they have mil eliminators which is basically an o2 sensor plug and a capacitor and resistor soldiered into the middle in a certain way so the voltage reads right or I should say within spec. Of course I only read about it and wouldn't suggest anything illegal but for learning purposes it may be worth looking into. A trip to pull a part to cut off an o2 sensor connector and a trip to radio shack and <$10 later. Again, not sure how it would work on tunned cars or if theres other reasons they are programmed out.
