Question looking for store to buy/ rent crank pin in south Snohomish County

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Anyone know of a pats shop in/ around Lynnwood/ Edmonds/ S. Everett that sells or rents crank pin?

Need to lock it in to do cam tensioner and valve covers on left side.

I rented one before from Autosports in Federal Way, to do front seal and right side tensioner, but that is long drive and
also car is tore apart right now replacing oil pump ect..

    thanks

What's the tool part number? Could help if others knew what you are looking for and is the tool if basic, you could make the tool yourself. I made two of my own audi specific tools, because they were on backorder at that time.

thank for the USEFUL input Josh, but no that is little too much..

I got it sorted out... was just needing to hold crank so I could take it off then crank pulley...
got it with a 11/32" drill bit, just used the smooth end.

I'll just get one later when I do the driver's side CCT.

yeh, drill worked for 'phase 1' of work.
now that I HAVE to take off the timing pulley, I bought one from Auto Sports in Fed way, since I had to get the new gasket for the front seal bracket anyways.
