Thinking of doing an RS5 rear brake conversion, thoughts, worth it?

    Hi guys,

I'm thinking of doing and RS5 rear brake conversion for my b8.5 s4. Already did the fronts and i'm thinking of of completing the look. I've done some research and I know the rs5 calipers bolt up but I would need new rotors. Anyone know what the hub size for rs5 coup rear rotors are? I know that the cabrio won't work so it has to be coup. Also are there other rear aftermarket rotors for the rs5 coup that I can use instead of OEM.

    Thanks

I have done the fronts on mine as well and after much research found that the rear rotors are not bolt on and calipers are essentially the same as ours. The hub offset is 5-7mm different and would require changing to the RS5 unit (new bearings etc). I went with the R8 rotors vs the wavy ones but if you want OEM wavy it needs to be the Euro spec RS4 rears or go aftermarket. BTW I ended up doing the booster and Master as well and it made a SIGNIFICANT difference in brake feel, stopping power and modulation.
