    Question S7 2013 Resonator delete low-end torque

I've read a lot of things on the forum about loosing low-end torque when deleting the middle resonator. I've owned a couple of turbo cars and have been in the middle of this discussion before.
I deleted my resonator today with a custom made h-pipe and I can feel a little less low end torque, but as I expected also, it gained a little at the top too, which is what I wanted (and the sound).
When you play with the pressure balance on a turbo engine, you are going to feel changes. For me, it was a good one. I have the APR tune so it made it a little more civilized at slow speeds. Some people have reported similar experiences with the expensive full custom exhaust systems.

What are the experiences of other members?

I did this as a first step to an AWE Touring or Track. Do you think is worth it?

I had a h-pipe, but felt less low end torque, too. After I changed to stock, I got APR downpipes and stage 2 tune.

Then my friend suggested me to tune a center resonator and rear mufflers. He cut them open and slightly modified pipes' path.

Sounds awesome and also almost no low end torque drop.

I replaced mine with an x-pipe and now I notice a distinct increase in torque right around 3,000 RPM which matches the torque curve (I have the EPL tune). Prior to the x-pipe, it was linear, now it comes on suddenly.

I haven't noticed any decline in performance. Straight pipe and the big suitcase resonator delete.

    Hey guys,

resurrecting an old thread, I also have removed the suitcase and the 2 resonators up front. car sounds brutal, but I feel I have lost loads of low end torque. car feels like a NA v8.
how do I fix this? full Ackro or Milltek?
