I don't see why it wouldn't work since your test pipe is still hooking up to the stock turbo and stock Downpipe/midpipe just like o34's hfc/tp

034 said they dont guarantee a perfect fit with another test pipe that not made by 034.

also do you have to replace the gaskets with new ones when you install a new test pipe or hi-flow cat on a B8.5?
In addition is exhaust seal required?

No new seals should be required. Just the gaskets and the nuts pictured in the 034 hardware kit. You can however get the OEM parts for almost half price at the dealer. You can probably reuse most of the old ones to be honest, but since they are pretty cheap I'd recommend just getting new gaskets/nuts in while you have the chance. They will probably make removing them down the line easier.

I used the OEM gaskets on my ebay 3in test pipe. No issues there, so I'd imagine you should be fine with the JHM. They are all bolting up to the same turbo after all.

Nice ok im planning on getting a APR down pipe when they release it to the public soon or maybe just buy another aftermaket down pipe like AWE, CTS. kinda like the straight piping instead of a cat i just want sound and a clear exhaust flow =). Will i need anything new for reinstalling a Aftermarket down pipe? (i came from owing a 2012 Impala so bare with me)

^^^careful with the CTS DP, I think it's meant to mate up with the CTS HFC which is shorter, so you may have clearance issues. Party Marty bought mine so he may be able to advise on fitment.

If you're going to buy the APR downpipe you may want to hold off on installing the JHM testpipe. I'm pretty sure the APR DP includes the TP.

Aww man do you really think APR will include one with the downpipe? because a A3 (FWD) downpipe already cost 750.00 didnt say it includes a test/hi-flo cat. Yet it looks like one piece from turbo to downpipe for a A3 from APR.
