I've had mine on about 2k miles, so far so good! Had slight noise at first from front passenger side, but found that something was a little loose. Tightened it up and now it's real quiet.

Bad pic, but I'm lowered a fair amount. I did get it raised 3/4 inch after initial install due to rubbing/settling.

As far as I can tell there were no alignment issues front or rear, the shop that installed them did the alignment right after install.

Is that the highest setting on the rear? I swore when we installed mine it was set to the highest setting and mine sits lower than that.

No, pretty sure I had plenty of room to go higher in the rear. I wish I had a pic of the assembly with the tire off.

No issues. I've pointed out in other threads you should get the avant rear springs. For my B8.5 S4, the ones that came with the kit were. not of the right spring rate for this app, and it sagged like crazy. I'm sure it would have only got worse over time. The Avants are holding up perfectly and do not have to be so slammed (I actually reduced mine a bit from their highest setting)

I should also note, now that I have the USS Sways, and the Avant rear spring I am looking for a slightly stiffer spring in the front as well. Stay tuned on that investigation...

The last set of ST's we did were low even all the way up in the rear. Cant remember if they started including a spacer or started using the avant rear spring to the later kits. I know That there was quite a bit of controversy over this a while ago.

I read some posts on some people using a spacer rather than the rear spring.

    What do you guys recommend?

avant springs for sure. spacer doesn't help with the reduced suspension travel

I have KW V1s (stainless version of STs) and I had to install spacers to correct the whole sagging issue. KW was fairly helpful/aware of this problem.

How does the brand of a coilover challenge the alignment results in the rear? Just curious, because there's only 2 adjustment points, and neither of which have anything to do with the strut or spring.

The ST's are known to sag and be too low in the rear on their highest setting. So to get a balanced "look" you have to go really low in the front. Thus causing severe alignment issues

ahhh... you mean alignment in height, then? Gotcha.

As far as I know, the KW brand (and ST by extension) has had on and off problems with this EXACT issue for years on the B8/B8.5. I think if I remember right, some may have switched to Avant springs for an A4 and corrected the issue?

    Good luck.

Yea, but it seems the Avant Springs are hard to come by now. So I may just get the Spacer
