Issue - Car feels off after spirited driving

    Hello all,

Was hoping someone would be able to help. I seem to be having some issues with my car after a little spirited driving at higher RPMs. After a few minutes it seems like my car just suddenly feels like something missing as it looses some power. Not sure if it related to an exhaust leak or what. My exhaust does sound slightly different when it happens, a bit deeper and not as smooth (AWE exhaust). Once I restart the car though the issue goes away until I push it again which I find odd.

Also, I have been having issue where I will get an EPC error if I push it for an extended period and sport diff error randomly. Car only has about 43k miles on it.

Anyone have any idea what may be going on? I am bringing my car in for service going to tell them to take a look into this issue but my money is on them saying they were unable to replicate the issue.

I was going to say heat soak, until you mentioned it resets when you restart the car.... You're probably going to need to run some logs.

If you aren't tuned then this is warranty work. They can't turn you away because they can't replicate it. There are codes stored.

I would put money on HPFP since this almost always seems to trigger EPC light to come on. I have had 2 Audis with EPC light and both times it was HPFP.

    This.

If you are tuned then it is likely heat soak as CELison stated.

If you are not tuned I would swap back in the OEM intake and take it in for warranty work.
