    BOV Leaking?

So I think the reason my car is falling on it's face and misfiring is because the BOV is leaking here?

You have a BOV.. not a diverter valve.. so it's probably working just fine, which doesn't mean that the car is working just fine.

That's actually considered a Blow off diverter valve.. Not sure if that changes anything.

if you have a Blowoff valve, it should be coming out of the "horn". I would contact forge about a replacement if its leaking out from where that red line is in the picture. I have a stock diverter valve if you need a replacement or something to hold you over until a new one comes.

Can you rebuild it? If that spot where it's leaking is threaded you can just put some Teflon tape on it and screw it back together. I don't know how those valves are constructed...

Does that bottom part where you drew the red line even come apart ? Not sure about BOV but my forge DV only unscrews at the top where the vacuum hose goes.

I'd get a proper DV as mentioned above.

Also, you don't want a $20 DV from aliexpress. That's a Chinese knock off website and that DV is likely poorly made and has no quality control.

Aside from that, do you have a stock turbo and air box ?

An OEM 710N (Audi upgraded DV) would be a cheap solution as well.

Yup thats the one. Its not sexy, but it has faster actuation response than anything out there aside from a modified Mitsu Evo DV or a $300 Synapse DV. It'll hold anything a stock turbo can put out. I know its not the exciting choice, but it'll get the job done for a long time without you having to think twice about it.

What airbox are you running? A cone of the MAF will hurt your performance. Like Charles mentioned, the stock airbox isnt the most sexy/exciting option, but its proven to be the most efficient option, as it is a true cold air intake (sealed from the engine bay and draws air from the front grille and fender.
