Less is More// Vossen Wheels X KW Suspension // TAG Motorsports

It is more often than not that our theory here in house is "less is more." As I am sure many of you have seen we try to keep to an "OEM plus" sort of approach with many of our builds. This time around with another loyal client, the saying remains the same. While talking to the client it was made apparent that he wanted a much better stance, and a more aggressive look to be added to his Q5. However, he did not want to go over the top and take away from the initial beauty of the car. After some talking, and working the numbers the magic began!

For the wheel decision we wanted something silver to tie in with the existing accents of the exterior. We also wanted to be sure that we went with a wheel design and size that truly fit's the car's personality while adding some needed flare. The decision was made to go with a 22x10.5" Vossen VFS1 in Silver finish. This is one of 3 current Flow Forged Designs from Vossen. To wrap them up we opted for the 265/35/22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assymetrico tires.

Last, but certainly not least we dropped the car close to 2" using the KW Height Adjustable Spring kit. This kit gives you the freedom of height adjust-ability, while maintaining a very stock-like ride. To keep the alignment numers in check, so as to avoid and pulls or tire wear, we installed a set of SPC Adjustable Control Arms.

The final result is top notch. Nothing too far out of the realm of keeping things simple, yet still creates a splash amungst the sea of cars on the road.
