My S4 with 3.0t does the same thing. I've heard that the chain tensioners bleed down after sitting, so the chains are slack when the engine starts. I wish there was a way for the motor to turn over for at least a second to allow oil pressure to build and put pressure on the chains guides.

I dropped it off at the dealer Monday got a callback today saying my timing was off.so he suggested a new chain pulley and tensioner.but when I drive the timing felt fine but they want $3600 which the warranty will cover
