On August 7th, I paid this seller $150.00 as agreed, paid through PayPal, and at his request, did it as friends and family. MY MISTAKE. I have received NOTHING!

THIS SELLER HAS REFUSED TO PROVIDE A TRACKING NUMBER, AND REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY. The seller said he would send me a tracking number the day after purchase. The seller continues to refuse to refund my money and has now stopped responding to me, even though he has visited the AZ boards multiple times since I sent him a message.

I'll vouch for Malathion. I believe calling him a thief is going a bit far. He's not the greatest at communicating, but he eventually completes the transaction or will make you whole again. So while I wouldn't give him a gold star for customer service, I suspect you'll be hearing from him and getting your money back at the very least.

I think calling him a thief is calling it like it is. Again, I paid him a week after you, have been requesting a tracking number without getting one, and have been requesting my money back since Sunday. Now he has stopped reading my PM's.

And notice, this guy goes in to his feedback thread and makes a post, yet he STILL hasn't responded to me, provided me ANY evidence of shipping, or even a date, and still has my money. Communication was great up until he had my money, everything has been shady since then.

@racicejr, I learned something long ago, never vouch for someone unless you are willing to go down with them. This guy has stolen my money so far, and he has had plenty of chances to make this right. He has refused. He has stolen from me and that is the definition of a thief, are you sure you'd want to associate your good name with his? I wouldn't. I really appreciate you PM'ing me too on this...

Yeah, it's pretty jacked. Where I messed up was by being trusting and doing Friends and Family. I don't mind paying the paypal fee, but also didn't expect to need the buyer protection. I'm going to contact them anyway as someone mentioned too.

I reported this to Audizine webmaster contact address yesterday at 3:45pm and still have not heard from them, but don't know how I got that address, thought I used the contact link on the bottom. I see I didn't, so I'm sending them this again... Thanks for bringing that up and making me look again!

This is why you NEVER pay as family and friends!!! Especially when someone has not even been a member on here for longer than a few months... If they only post items for sale and have no other posts on the forum... I wouldn't trust them...

Thats exactly how I look at it. If they are new members, I don't trust them at all. It's always weird that an "enthusiast" randomly starts selling sought after parts right when they join. Also, no offense to raricejr, but the join dates close together seem sketchy to me.

Yeah, I was an idiot for doing this. I, like you, always pay extra to cover the paypal fee, but I have been buying things off people on forums for so long, and I did see other posts from him not in his sale threads. But I did completely screw up by trusting him... Never again. It sucks that people like this are ruining society as a whole...

damn, that's why my amex is linked to my paypal account, so in the event that i get burned paying as family and friends i file a claim through them...amex will always side with the cardholder in my experience...fortunately, i haven't been burned by anyone that i've paid as F&F yet...knock on wood...

I do have my Capital One linked, and that is what I used. But I figured if I dispute it with Capital One, it would PayPal that would get the charge reversed to them, so wouldn't PayPal just come after me for those funds? Anyway, conversation for PM's...

I still haven't heard from the AZ mods and nothing from malathion either...

Right on man. Yeah, I have to kick myself in the ass for that, it's not like I'm new to this game, so I should know better. Just a little too trusting I guess...

Also, AZ Admin contact me back and taken action, I see the account is suspended, so that's a good start. And I applaud the response time from when I sent them a message to the proper email address to the time action was taken.
