It would be extremely dependent on how much damage the engine bay incurred.

I would say no more than $1000, getting that baby back to running condition will cost you some good change, unless you wanna strip it and sell parts.

well either way whatever you pay there will be about $500 in buyer fees. Same place I bought my b5 a4 with timing belt damage for $125 but ended up paying $600 because of buyer fees

Assuming there's no damage to the engine Bay, ~$7k to repair it.

You guys are wackkkkk... We've rebuilt several RS6's.. I would say the car is worth around 12-14K fixed all said and done.. Price out some used air bags, repaint hear and there, new hood, new grille, good possible save the bumper with body work, doesn't look like more than 3K in repairs if you find the right parts and do some good labor.
IAAI charges like $600 in fees so I would probably Pay like 6K for this car.. You have 10 in it all said and done, make 2 or 3 K profit, move on to the next one!

Nope it's worth 3-4K tops. It's not worth fixing and will be parts only. As a running vehicle with a salvage title it's worth at most 6-7K and that is if it's 100%. Your competing against alot of RS6's with clean titles in the 9-13K range. A vehicle with a salvage title is worth 50-70% of one with a clean title.

Front end parts are also fucking expensive for the RS6.. No I mean fucking absurdly expensive. Like crazy OMG expensive. They are also difficult to find used.

On a separate note, there's a chance there will be another RS6 available here soon. I was driving through Boulder about a week ago and saw a nasty wreck between a dark grey RS6 into the back of a pickup. I wasn't able to get a good look, but the extent of the damage looked similar to this blue one.
