Question Questions: Feeling shake while driving...

    Here is the thing:

When I drive the car get around 50mph, I can feel the whole car starts shaking, especially can feel it from steering wheel. When the speed get up to 75mph, the shaking disappears, it runs smoothly.

I noticed this problem for a long time and I have tried to find it in many times. I did the tire balance last year service, the problem gets better after doing tire balance, but it shakes again day by day. Also, I replaced the intermediate shaft after dealer found there is a bend on U joint, but the problem is still there.

Anyone in forum knows this problem? I will really appreciate your help. This problem annoys me!

    Thank you!

I have had this exact same problem. Low speed there's nothing and above 70 too. 50-70 I feel some shake, this is after new tires, balancing, alignments, multiple dealership visits, etc. I literally had the dealer look at the car last week for 130k miles inspection, said nothing was wrong with the entire car just needed oil...

    lol

usual causes are improper tire balance, bent wheels, or flat spots on the tires..

Upper and/or lower control arms are your issue.

I had the same issue and the road force balance resolved it. A minor bend in my wheel.

Check the bushings and ball joints on the control arms - they can cause the same problem if worn out or torn.

No, a road force balancer applies a load to the tire as its rotated to simulate the wheel being fitted to he car. This should show up any discrepancies in tire sidewall construction or tire high spots hat a normal balancing machine doesn't compensate for.

Ask first if they do "road force balance".
