Hi.

Relatively new to this forum.
And just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Joe.

Have been looking for a wagon for quite a while and finally found one.

2007 Phantom Black S4 Avant.

Found this forum and here we are.
Interested in all sorts of little upgrades etc. using this as a platform to keep track of mods and wants.

So here it is!

CF license plate

Well I would say standard stuff.

I do love some carbon fiber. So yes on that, just looking for parts.
Suspension.
Fix up the sound quality of the stereo.
Some new shoes. ( looking for some BBS wheels)
And possibly a RS4 grill, just looked at the cost and whew!

Looking good! Congrats on the pickup. Let me know if you replace your wheels. I'm looking for a spare s4 wheel in the style that you have on your car if you plan to get rid of them.

Just did some maintenance. Changed the air filter. And put new center lock caps on.

You'll be happy you got them. Nothing quite like a winter setup on an AWD car, especially in NY. I've even tried to get stuck but have always been able to crawl out.

Did you source new or get lucky with the classifieds? There have been some great deals recently on winter setups.

Got lucky with the wheels on Craigslist. Bought the tires from tire rack. I've been looking for some for a while now and bit the bullet. Very excited to try them out!!!

So random update.
Flexpipes separated on the car.
So.... I took the opportunity to upgrade.

Got the JHM piggie pipes a long while ago. And had a buddy help install them. They were great but the check engine light annoyed me.

Then I got the JHM tune. To get rid of the CEl. And the car is a beast now. All I can say is WOW.

Doing some minor things here and there.
Door blade was pushing out. So I gutted that sucker and put it back together. (Not perfect) but MUCH less obvious.
-Led city lights
-Installing front and rear cameras. (The blackvue 650s 2ch)

And grabbing some new tires.
Wanted Michelin super sports. But couldn’t find a set fast enough so I got the PZero GT’s.

Did some minor upgrades here and there.
Worked out an iPhone dock/connection. With handsfree phone action.

Sprayed the back diffuser black. As the grey annoyed me.

Updated/refreshed brakes

Rs4 front grill and blacked out badges.

Added blackvue cam. Front and back.

Added a splitter up front.

Found my old TC sounds tc9 sub I had back in the day with multiple amps etc. starting to get an audio itch.

BUT...
Also have a new addition coming

Just did some suspension work.

Bilstein b8s w H&R sport springs.
Refreshed with brand new control arms, bushings, nuts and bolts.
Did the 034 motorsports sway bar and end links.

All I can say is wow. Feels like a new car. On rails!
