Will be moving soon and unfortunately I do not have the room to keep this baby around. So she needs to go to a good home. A lot of time, money, and work has gone into this and is near to being a brand new car for 15 years old. Fires right up, sharp throttle response, and comfortable. Loved driving it so far. Engine:
S6 engine
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and all rollers done using factory parts
Changed all oil seals – no leaks
Full synthetic 5w40 oil change
New starter and alternator
New Power Steering Pump
New battery
New fuel filter
New Coolant Expansion Tank
Powder Coated Valve Covers – Wrinkle Black
Drivetrain:
Audi 01E 6 speed manual trans
New inner and outer front axle boots
All trans and diff fluids changed using factory fluids
JHM short throw shifter
RS4 clutch with AWE lightened flywheel
Brakes:
Full new set Zimmerman rotors all around with new pads.
Exhaust:
New Magnaflow downpipes on both banks
Custom cat-back exhaust system made from magnaflow center muffler and resonated tips
New upstream o2 sensor on passenger side.
Suspension:
All control arms in the front including inner/outer tie rod ends and end links
Hotchkis front and rear Sway bars
ST Coilovers
4 wheel alignment with corner weighting and balancing
Wheels and Tires:
“Fat Fives” rims with no bends and perfect balancing.
Continental Sport Contact 2’s all around no bubbles and lots of tread left (estimated 5/32 or 6/32).
Interior:
Full cleaning and detail of all interior trim, carpet, and seats
Had instrument cluster display repaired.
Exterior:
Full 3 stage detail – wash, claybar, polish, and wax
The bad:
Just needs the plastic trim piece to hold in the sideview mirror switch in center console
Some paint imperfections, such as rock chips etc.
Dent in passenger side rear quarter behind the wheel arch from before I first bought it.
A/C needs to be charged. Had a faulty safety switch that has been replaced.
Inspection is needed. As I don’t have the time at the moment. The car just needs to be driven more. So far no check engine light is present, and just needs to set readiness on the catalyst and o2 sensor modules. All others have passed and are ready. When I do drive it to work, its currently only a mile commute, so not enough time/cycle to help this.
