    B5 A5 with S4 2.7 motor swap

    Im looking at a 1996 A4 with a 2.7 liter swapped S4 motor. My question is are there anything specific I should be looking at? Ive seen this swap before but want to make sure I don't get shafted. Thanks!

    Specifically:
    1. Carfax the VIN
    2. Read all the fault codes with your VAGCOM
    3. Maintenance history (should have a stack of receipts)
    4. Start car cold (listen for turbo noise)
    5. Inspect undercarriage for oil leaks
    6. Search this AZ for more wisdom.
    7. Post up pix ASAP
