The combustion event inside the cylinder must be carefully controlled to realize maximum power and efficiency. Upgrade to the 2.0T ignition coils to ensure your fuel mixture burns rapidly, thoroughly, and reliably, while enhancing the beauty of your engine bay.

The Stage I ECS Kit includes everything needed for the conversion: stainless steel hardware and a 2.0T Coil Pack Conversion Plate (3 color options). The Stage II Kit adds aluminum Coil Pack Hold Downs (3 color options) to keep pressure on the coil pack—a simple and attractive solution to coils popping out of location.

Yes it will. I have my cover still on and I'm using this kit on my B6. Although I'm not positive it will clear if you use the tie downs, that I do not know.

Just a tip with these, although I have gotten away with 0.38 gap with the red tfsi coils, you're probably better off going with a 0.28 gap. A few mentions here and there about remapping your dwell times to be a bit shorter for these to improve longevity also.

Other than that, the adapter plate fits the valve cover fine and my coils are somewhat difficult to pull out, seem securely mounted even without the hold-down brackets.
