    Front Parking Sensor Issue

I purchased a CPO '13 A7 from the dealer. One month later, I purchased an OEM license plate filler from ECS and had the dealer install it. This is where I started to experience issues with the front passenger-side middle parking sensor. It would continuously beep as if something was in the way. I had a 25k service scheduled and explained this issue to the dealer. My service advisor calls me today saying that the sensor would not be covered under warranty bc it appears there was an impact and the sensor is not alighted correctly. I advised that this is the only thing I have altered on the front end is the license plate filler, which they installed.

Anyone have/had the same issue with the front passenger-side middle parking sensor?

Did you let the wife or girlfriend drive it? (Ha ha. Hate to stereotype but in my experience it's true). My wife put a nice dent in the front bumper of our 2017 Q7 just three weeks after we bought it. She didn't tell me about it because it was a minor impact, then we noticed the damage a few days later. If your 100% sure you didn't cause it then I would keep fighting the dealer -- I can't see anyway installing a license plate filler could be mistaken for an impact from an accident

There is not a chance in hell is let her drive it- lol.

I am 100% certain I didn't cause it. I just sent a complaint to Audi of America. I mean the sensor that's acting up is the one that's on the grille on the passengers side. This is exactly why I paid he $80 for them to install it, so I have someone to blame if something goes wrong.
