Computer tuning

Does anyone know of some one with experience in tuning the computer on a 3.0l need to get rid of a pes tune. I also have a miss in number 6 cylinder that I can't track down. Any help would be great

Buy a used ECU with stock tune and have the immobilizer adapted to the used ECU to replace the PES tuned ECU.

Misfire is caused by one or more of the prerequisite conditions described below either missing or out of specification limits required for correct engine operation;

The air/fuel ratio must be within the ignitability range between the lean limit and the rich limit.

The compression pressure must be equal to or higher than the factory specification for compression pressure test minimum pressure limit.

The ignition coil secondary output voltage capability must be higher than the voltage required to reliably cause the spark to jump the spark plug gap, at all engine loads and speeds and ignition timing must be correct.

All of the described conditions required must always exist during engine operation. If one or more of the three prerequisites are missing or malfunctioning, misfires will result.

Diagnostics to determine and fix the problem is a process of checking everything that can prevent normal function of the engine systems involved, one possibility at a time from easiest to most difficult. guided by the most common problems checked first.
