V8T badge placement

Hi everyone,

Asking S7 owners for help on the following matter: is V8T badge on your cars parallel to the ground or to the top fender edge (thus a bit inclined)?

Here it seems inclined:


but I'm still not sure, unfortunately factory manual is not very clear on this.

Any help is much appreciated!

I have information from factory repair manual and it defines the exact location of badge's lower right corner, but no instructions on how to align the whole thing.

Just measured mine if this helps you. Driver's side LHD.

Bottom of the base of the T is 97mm below the crease.

Bottom of the vase of the V is 95mm below the crease.

just dont superglue it.

i bought a cpo audi and it had superglued on emblems on one side. you can guess what happened....whole panel is being repainted this week.
