    AWE resonated rattle *FIXED*

    Update: AWE Tuning responded and made an excellent solution. Case closed.

    Since AWE Tuning didn't bother to respond my request for warranty claim, I made a temporarily solution to fix the horrible sound in my AWE resonated dp.
    They will be welded later on.

    I see a hole. Picture taken before dismantling the resonator.


    Reason for the rattle. Perforated cylinder breaks loose at welding.


    Test fitting with the ultra quiet version.


    Installed with the 12" bottle version.

    What did it sound like before, was it the noise a few people were mentioning?

    Annoying rattle or undriveable?

    Purchased and installed August 2013. The rattle started approx 2 years later.
    I see now that I wrote 2014 in my claim, but they should answer nonetheless other than auto reply.

    Really annoying at both idle and on the highway, like rattle in a tin can. I may have a sound clip or video.
